Trump Begins Plans for a Presidential Library

Former President Donald Trump has formally initiated plans for a presidential library, with significant steps taken in 2025 to establish the necessary legal and financial framework for the project. The effort is being led by his son, Eric Trump, and son-in-law Michael Boulos, who have created a nonprofit foundation to raise funds and oversee the development of the library

“With a $400 million luxury jet waiting in the wings and a $37 million check in hand − thanks to settlements from Meta and ABC− President Donald Trump’s future presidential library plan is ready for take off,” USA Today reports.

“All it needs is a nonprofit − or two − to get it off the ground.”

“To that end, Trump’s son Eric and son-in-law Michael Boulos have filed paperwork establishing a nonprofit to raise money for the library.”

Donald Trump’s presidential library project is now formally underway, with a nonprofit foundation in place, substantial initial funding secured, and Florida positioned as the leading candidate for its location. The project is still in its early stages, with IRS approval and site selection pending, but it is backed by both high-profile financial settlements and legislative momentum in Florida.
